PBT resin can be molded using most standard injection moldingmachines. Reciprocating screw machines are recommended. For aselected enduran resin part, two basic factors, total injectionweight and total projection area, should be considered whendetermining the specification of its injection e When thetotal injection weight of all cavities, including runner andinjection channel is equal to 50-80% of the machine capacity, thebest results can be obtained generally. When using a large barrelmachine, a small amount of injection will unnecessarily prolong theretention time of the resin, resulting in the degradation of theresin. Once the projection area is determined, 3-5 tons of clampingforce per square inch should be applied on the projection area toreduce the overflow of parts. Wall thickness, flow length, andmolding conditions will determine the actual tonnage required
