OREVAC® T 9304 is a random terpolymer of ethylene, vinyl acetateand maleic anhydride made by high-pressure radicalar polymerizationprocess. As an ethylene copolymer, OREVAC® T 9304 is compatiblewith PE in all proportions, and with most other ethylenecopolymers. Vinyl acetate brings softness, flexibility andpolarity, maleic anhydride gives reactivity, leading to versatileadhesive properties to polar and non polar substrates. As a resultof high-pressure polymerisation in tubular reactor, OREVAC® T 9304exhibits high transparency (low haze).
Applications
OREVAC® T 9304 is compatible with most tackifying resins and waxesand can be used for hot melt adhesives formulations. OREVAC® T 9304is also suitable to produce thermo-adhesive films for solidsubstrates like PA, PET & PU films, aluminium foils, fiber mats,foams... OREVAC® T 9304 can also be used as a tie layer betweenpolyethylene and polyamide in blown film coextrusion.
