日本油墨PPS FZ-3600---Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a heatresistantpartially crystalline polymer with simplechemicalconstruction as shown in Fig. 1.1. This polymer has ahighmelting point of about 280'C, has outstandingchemical resistanceand is non-burning by establishedindustry flammability test withoutany flame retardant chemicals.
DIC.PPS which is flled with fiber reinforcement and/or mineralfiller possesses a unique combination of properties of interest tothe designer and processor. It combines the high performanceusually associatedwith specialty plastics and the excellentprocessing characteristics of typical engineering plastics. It isthermally stable and exhibits excellent mechanical properties aswell as dimensional stability.
Two types of PPS are available. One is the cross-linkedmolecular construction polymer based compounds; these areespecially excellent rigidity and lower creep deformation underelevated temperature.
The other is the linear molecular construction polymer based;these have excellent toughness and lower water absorption thanformer, because of its high purity polymer.
