1 The general performance of ABS is opaque ivory color granularmaterial, its products can be colored, and has 90% of the highgloss ABS relative density of 1.05, low water absorption. ABS hasgood adhesion with other materials and is easy to print, coat andplating. ABS has an oxygen index of 18.2, a flammable polymer witha yellow flame, black smoke, scorched but not dripping, and aspecial cinnamon flavor. 2 Mechanical Properties ABS has excellentmechanical properties, its impact strength is very good, can beused at very low temperature; even if the ABS products can only bedamaged by tensile damage rather than impact damage, this is theABS high toughness realism. ABS has excellent wear resistance,dimensional stability, and oil resistance, and can be used formedium load and speed bearings. The creep resistance of ABS islarger than PSF AND PC, but smaller than PA and POM. The bendingstrength and compression strength of ABS are the worse of plastics.The mechanical properties of ABS are greatly affected bytemperature.
