On theone hand, it is required that the forming equipment can producehigh forming pressure, on the other hand, it is required that theforming temperature be strictly controlled, and it is difficult toget the products with high dimensional accuracy when thetemperature fluctuates. 4 PMMA macromolecule chain has certainrigidity, in order to reduce the internal stress of the products,the temperature of the molding die is not less than 40 °C, and theproducts which require high mechanical properties and dimensionalaccuracy can be heat treated. PMMA casting molding generally willbe a certain viscosity of the methyl methacrylate monomerprepolymer slurry, and then pouring at a certain temperature in themold directly through bulk polymerization products or profiles,products are transparent, translucent or opaque in a variety ofcolors and pearlescent plate, bar, tube and so on.
