Triax 1120 resin is an ABS (Acrylonitrile ButadieneStyrene)/Nylon 6 alloy for injection molding. It is asemicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent processibility, goodchemical resistance, good fatigue performance, and excellentabrasion characteristics. Triax 1120 resin exhibits a good balanceof impact strength and flow properties.
Typical applications include housings, shrouds and handles forcomponents of lawn and garden equipment, power tools, appliances,and sporting goods. Automotive applications include fasteners andinterior functional components, housings, and shrouds. As with anyproduct, use of Triax 1120 resin in a given application must betested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance bythe user to determine suitability.
