Neoprene W-type Characteristics: Rawpolymers: Excellent storage stability; non-peptizable; acceleratorrequired/cure flexibility. Vulcanizates: Good compression setresistance, good heat-aging.

General Neoprene Information: The basicchemical structure of DuPont Dow Elastomers Neoprene ispolychloroprene. The polymer structure can be modified bycopolymerization with sulfur or 2,3 dichloro 1,3-butadiene to yielda broad range of chemical and physical properties. All types ofNeoprene resist degradation from sun, ozone, and weather; performwell in contact with oils and many chemicals; remain useful over awide temperature range; display outstanding physical toughness, andresist burning inherently better than exclusively hydrocarbonrubbers.
