产品说明:
General Description
Carlson Alloy C 400 is a nickel-copper alloy which provides anexcellent combination of high strength, ductility, goodweldability, and resistance to corrosion over a wide range oftemperatures and conditions.
C 400exhibits high yield and tensile strengths during exposure tocryogenic temperatures.
Thisalloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment, only by cold working. It is generally free from stress corrosion cracking.
Applications
C400provides excellent service for marine applications, includingcontinues or intermittent exposure to high-velocity brackish or seawater. This alloy is also widely used for handling sulfuric acidunder reducing conditions. It is one of the few materials thatoffer good resistance to hydrofluoric acid.
C 400can be utilized over a wide range of temperatures for fluorine, drychlorine and hydrogen chloride service. It exhibits usefulresistance to hydrochloric acid up to 10% concentrations at roomtemperature. This alloy however, has poor resistance to highlyoxidizing acids such as nitric acid and nitrous acids.
C400exhibits excellent resistance to non-oxidizing halides and goodresistance to neutral and alkaline salts such as carbonates, sulfates, nitrates, and acetates.
