Definition of TPV material

TPV (thermoplastic vulcanizate) thermoplastic vulcanized rubber,also known as polyolefin alloy thermoplastic elastomer. TPVmaterials can be obtained by dynamic vulcanization of rubber andplastic blends. Since the rubber in the vulcanization process needsto be mixed with thermoplastic, it is necessary to match thesurfaces of the two materials to make TPV materials. At present,the most commonly used is the mixing of EPDM and PP materials. Thiskind of functional material not only has the characteristics ofrubber, but also has the characteristics of elastomer. It isdivided into TPE thermoplastic elastomer.
