KYNAR? 720 is a semi-crystalline low molecular weight pelletizedpolymer of vinylidene fluoride. It is a versatile engineeringplastic with an outstanding balance of physical and chemicalproperties which qualify it for high performance service in a widerange of applications. It is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer capableof being fabricated in standard processing equipment. The molecularweight and molecular weight distribution have been carefullytailored to supply a grade suitable for a variety of processingrequirements and end-use applications.KYNAR? 720 is recommended forfine extrusion operations such as monofilament and thin, flat, andblown film. It is also suitable for injection molding applicationswhere very thin cross-sections for intricate design requireexcellent melt flow characteristics. KYNAR? 720 is also suggestedfor coextrusion of composite constructions and as a base for filledor alloyed KYNAR? compounds.The powder form of this resin grade isavailable as KYNAR? 721 PVDF.
