PETG美国伊士曼EB062---Poly (p-phenylenedimethylethylene glycol ester)- 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (PETG) is a transparent plastic and anamorphous copolyester. The common copolymerization unit of PETG is1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM). PETG is a product oftransesterification polycondensation of terephthalic acid (TPA),ethylene glycol (eg) and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM). Comparedwith pet, PETG has more 4-cyclohexanedimethanol copolymerizationunits. Compared with PCT, PETG has more ethylene glycolcopolymerization units. Therefore, the performance of PETG is from that of pet and PCT SK and South Korea arerelatively mature in technology.
PETG is an amorphous copolyester. With the increase of CHDM inthe copolymer, the melting point decreases, the glass transitiontemperature increases, the crystallinity decreases, and finally theamorphous polymer is formed. Generally, the content of CHDM in PETGis 30% - 40%, which has good viscosity, transparency, night color,chemical resistance and stress whitening resistance. It can beformed by hot forming or extrusion blow molding Itsviscosity is better than acrylic acid (acrylic). Its products arehighly transparent and have excellent impact resistance. It isespecially suitable for forming thick wall transparent products.Its processing performance is excellent. It can be designed in anyshape according to the designer's intention. It can be used intraditional extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, blisteringand other molding methods. It can be widely used in sheet metal,high-performance shrinkage film, plastic film, etc At the sametime, the secondary processing performance is excellent. It can bemodified by conventional machining.

1 excellent thermoforming performance
PETG sheet is easy to produce products with complex shape andlarge drawing ratio.
