In the PCT (Pressure Cooker Test) Test, after 1000h at 95% RH and100 °c, the PC phase in the PC/ABS still kept more than 90%molecular weight and did not undergo serious hydrolysis, while theimpact strength of the alloy only decreased by 15% , compared withordinary PC/ABS, the performance is improved by more than 30% . Inaddition, in order to meet the re of thin-walledinstrument panel, the series of materials can reduce the viscosityof the materials under high shear, and overcome the disadvantagesof thermal decomposition of the materials caused by one-sidedraising of temperature to improve the fluidity of the materials inthe past. The new generation of hydrolyzable and stable PC/ABSmaterials can even be recycled because of their goodhydrolyzability and thermal stability. When 25% recycled materialis added, the multi-axial impact property of the material onlydecreases by 11% , and it is ductile fracture, which fully showsthe superior performance of the new generation PC/ABS. Afterhydrolysis at 80% RH at 90 °C and high humidity for 600h, the notchimpact strength decreased only 8.5% . The material has been used inthe VW collar, Chrysler 300C, GM BUIK and other models. There aremany synthetic methods of ABS resin. At present, emulsion blendingand continuous bulk method are widely used in the world.
